This is the story of a mathematical genius whose carrier was cut short by a descent into madness. At the age of 30, John Nash a stunningly original & famously eccentric MIT mathematician, suddenly began claiming that aliens were communicating with him & that he was a special messenger.

Nash experienced the first symptoms of mental illness - paranoid schizophrenia, in early 1959. He spent almost three years in & out of mental hospitals. During that time, a proof he had written at the age of 20 became a foundation of modern economic theory. For his work, he awarded a Nobel prize in 1994.

This video is an interview about his life & his work. The program features interviews with John Nash, his wife - Alicia, his friends & Colleagues, experts in game theory & mental illness.
